Calling CatProducts Plugin into VmTab extension

Below this comes up my plugin in CatProducts, this plugin is called from a custom field.

VmTabs can call a plugin but not a custom field.

There's got to be some way for me to call this plugin from the description text area....correct?
How would I do this?
