Hi,

I don't want to show my products in the shop front-end when the stock level of this product is 0.

I went to configuration->configuration->shop frontend and
in the "action when article is out of stock" option i selected "don't show article"

then i go to articles->articles->article status and the stock level of the article is 0 and the minimum stock is 1 but when i check the frontend of the store, i can still see the article and i can still order it.

can anyone help me please.

PRO

do you have "check stock" enabled?

whats the option?

twojoint

Yes, in config->config->shop frontend i have "check stock" enabled

twojoint

sorry, i don't mean option but the settings for "action when article is out of stock"
it's also in config->config->shop frontend - the upper right settings

I am using joomla 2.5.9 and virtuemart 2.0.20a
and i am not using any template overrides.

It's really strange because none of the settings for "action when article is out of stock" work. (upper right settings in configuration->configuration->shop frontend)
No matter what settings i choose, i always see my article and can use the button to order. even when i choose the option to show the "inform me" button instead of the order button.

(maybe some of my translations are not completely correct, but i speak dutch and use the dutch language pack for VM)

I've ordered my own product, and now it works. the system doesn't show my article.

Maybe it didn't work because i set the stock level to 0 in the backend. maybe the stock level had to become 0 through ordering?
