Child categories show as duplicate parent

Hey guys,  attached is an image of my storefront, the child categories in the School Supplies is duplicating itself as parent items on the VirtueMart Frontpage.
I've checked the backend and they are also duplicated with the same category ID, if I delete one, they both go.
