Featured Products Module text and image are aligned left

I have the virtuemart product module set to display featured products only. The image and the text in the module are left-aligned. Where can I change this. I am using VM default theme.

Also, if I do not have "Show add to cart link" set to "yes" the products display in a vertical column and not in a row. Settings are display 5 products, 5 in each row. I have the display style as div based because if I select div based ul-li then I get the little li disc showing at the side of the product. This module seems very buggy!!
