Add live feed to store.

Running 2.5.6 Joomla on PHP 5.3 and VM 2.0.8e
Right off let me say I am not a programmer.

So the wholesaler sent me an address where I am supposed get a live api feed of their products to add to my store.  This will supposedly make it so the client can purchase and the order will go straight through as well as allow me to not have input every pic and description manually.  I have searched the internet high and low and can't even find an explanation of what this is let a lone how to do anything with it.

Any direction would be greatly appreciated.
