Hi there

I have a slight bug with my installation of VM 2.0.18a. in the backend and front end of my site.

When I click on either Products. Categories, Currencies etc etc if there is more then 24 items I have to scroll through all the pages one at a time, at the moment I have the choice of
6
12
18
24
all

But for some reason the "all" isn't working at the moment, I am guessing there is something wrong with the pagination?

Anybody have an idea what file i will need to go into to fix this?

Thank you

Milbo

No, the possibility to display all is a noob thing. We could do it, but only if you have less than 200 items. Starting a request like this on a big store with 80k products is just overkill. The "all" option just makes trouble, so there isnt any.

I have to disagree, I have a client with 2000 products on their site, so when they are doing mass updates on multiple products they have to scroll through lots of pages, I changed the setting so they can see 500 products at a time, however that 500 shows up on the front-end as well, which I am not happy about, so I don't think it is an unreasonable request to have this bug fixed

It is definitly not a bug. You never displayed 2000 products in the BE. I did, your browser will crash. The server will do it, but even a hexacore with 8GB freezes. And 2000 products is a small store. How should it work for big stores? where is the limit?

Before we had all and I used an internal limit of 700. But this leads to the problem, that a user sets all,.. checks all, makes a bulk referencing and he thinks that all got referenced, but in fact only the first 700.

Imagine you set your pagination to all and your computer is almost freezing. How should a normal user be able to reset it to 50, if the computer is not responding?

No, what you need is an extra button on top,.. "reference all", something like this.
