Checkout and registration crazy loop. How to simplify?

Hello
Joomla 2.5.6
Virtuemart 2.0.18a

at checkout I see:

Your account details

and

Add/Edit billing address information

(No "New user? Please register here.". Very strange.)

so I fill both, accept terms and click (but I think "Register and checkout" button should be at the bottom not at the top of the form, no?).

So now I see an "Account details" and "Personal Details" page where I need to confirm email and password. (AGAIN??)

How to disable all that required stuff? I want just a checkout for a shop!

Anyway, I fill both and captcha too (how to disable it?). Click on "Register" button. Et voilĂ , I see:

User Name
Password
Remember me
Log in
Forgot your password?
Forgot your username?
Don't have an account?

I fill the form and, AGAIN, the "Edit profile" page!!
Where is the cart? where is the checkout page?

At this point I think every buyer left the the site/shop and never return.

Anyway, I click on the "View cart" link into Virtuemart module, the only link to the cart/checkout on the page.
I see again the checkout page, the term check and the "Check out now" button. Click and... the "Add/Edit billing address information" page AGAIN!!
Is this a joke? How many times I need to fill the info/username/passord to buy a book?

On the old virtuemart version the checkout was very intuitive, simple and FAST.
Can I restore the old way?

Please, tell me how to forget this crazy loop and to get a working shop.

Ok, I wish this can help someone that like me use K2 and Virtuemart: it is necessary to disable the K2 registration manager to simplify the steps for users.
After disabled it is very simply and fast. Sorry for my first frustrated post.
