No installation possible for Joomla 3.0 ?

Hello,

i want to install Virtuemart 2.18 on my local copy of Joomla 3.0 based on MAMP PRO.

But if i want to install Virtuemart i got this message: JInstaller: :Install: Could not find the Joomla!-XML-Installationsdatei.

Is Virtuemart ready for Joomla 3.0 ?
