Notification email not sent after changing main email in Global Configuration

Hi,

I'm using:

Joomla 2.5.8
Virtuemart: 2.0.18a
PHP: 5.3.17

My problem is pretty strange, I get an error after trying to change the main email from Global Configuration.
When I have the old email everything works, but if I change that email then Virtuemart won't send a confirmation email to the shopper, but the vendor gets an email about the order. After I set the old email back the shopper and vendor get their email.

Are there some other places where I should change the email to sincronize joomla and virtuemart? Maybe in the database or something.
