importing products by SQL

I tried to import 4000++ products to VM2 using phpMyAdmin ( IMPORT ).
I've successfully imported data into table product, product_en_gb, product_prices,
but product does not show in the administrator page.

Why? How to solve the problem?

you need to be set as a vendor

if that does not solve it, the products need to be "owned" by you. (I dont know if this is still implemented for single vendor though)

Look in "shoppers" find your username, and see if you are set to vendor. If not, set it.

OR look in "tools & migration" and "set store owner id" to your username's ID
