Paypal not working in VM 2.0.16

Hi,

I am trying to develop a website using Virtuemart 2.0.16 in Joomla 2.5. I have setup a Paypal as payment method, but the problem is once the order is confirmed, email is NOT being sent to vendor as well as customer. Also I could see that the status of order in backend is showing as Pending.

Could you please assist.

Hi,
I am getting the mails by using "Ask a question link". In Paypal sandbox, the transaction is success, but in VM the order is not confirmed. I hope if this is fixed, I will get the mails. But how do I fix this in VM to change the status of an order

1. It is showing a blank page when accessing http://yourdomain.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=pluginresponse&task=pluginnotification&tmpl=component
I have disabled SEF URL in Joomla configuration as well.

2. The log folder shows the below content:

2012-12-29 08:16:22
message: plgVmConfirmedOrder order number: 577e015

This order is in Pending status in VM backend

3. The paypalresponse_raw column in #_virtuemart_payment_plg_paypal' is 0 for this order.

This is normal. The notification task is used between Paypal and VM. ANd is not a page to be displayed.

If you only have that message displayed, it means probably that the notification was not received by VM.
Go in your server logs and check if it is the case

This is normal if you did not receive the notification
