After update 2.0.14-2.0.16 no payment methodes can be added

After the update from VM 2.0.14 to 2.0.16 it is not possible to add a payment methode.

I can say new payment methode and even when I want to use the default one it gives me a complete blank page when hitting the save button.

Did you also update the aio component to 2.0.16?

Completely blank page usually means a 500 error, so check the server error log to see what the problem was.

I already checked if the aio was updated and even did it again to make sure.

in the error log it is nothing.
After I hit the save button it is redirecting me to administrator/index.php with blank page. refressing gives me the normal Joomla admin page.

It works for me in 2.0.16 version after the update from 2.0.14. Did you try 'Debug System' in Joomla configuration, enable 'Enable debugging messages' (vmdebug) in VirtueMart configuration or 'Firebug' (see here: http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=102850.0), if one of them detects an error?

The only thing that I can find is:

The character encoding of the HTML document was not declared. The document will render with garbled text in some browser configurations if the document contains characters from outside the US-ASCII range. The character encoding of the page must to be declared in the document or in the transfer protocol. @ http://www.mysite.com/administrator/index.php

Is this usefull information?

Did some mor digging after I found out that when I want to go to a product page in the frontend I also get a blank page. in extention management not all virtuemart related extentions had the new version number.

removed everything en then did a new install with the old database (has allready to many items to start all over.

But stil when I want to add a payment methode or want to go to a product details page gives me an blank page even with beez_20 template.

A few more things I would check are:
- Go to VirtueMart 'Tools & Migration' and click on "Install or if necessary update tables".
- Enable 'Debug Language' in Joomla and go i.e. to your VM standard payment configuration. Check if the payment plugin's language file is loaded.
- If you have access to your php settings (php.ini file), temporarily enable 'error_reporting = E_ALL' and check if it reports a problem when you get a blank page.
Are you using a third party SEF extension?

Did the "Install or if necessary update tables" no changes
Enable 'Debug Language' in Joomla  nothing strange to see also changed BE language to english same problem.
Edited the php.ini restarted appache. but I cannot see a log file with errors which log file should it be in?

normally I use default joomla sef but all sef is still disabled at the moment

error_reporting = E_ALL would display errors in the normal frontend and backend views.

You are using Joomla 2.5.x, aren't you?
