Migrator breaking vm2 install - shopper fields

Hello,

Still attempting to upgrade to vm2 after many weeks. My latest and hopefully final problem is with the migrator. Selecting the 'everything' option slowly but surely migrates everything over but when it gets to the orders any page on the frontend relating to virtuemart results in a white empty page. I've done this process many times and its always when the orders begin. I've tracked the problem down to the migrated shopper fields, if i delete these migrated fields virtuemart resumes to work but the problem then is my users are left without there shopper fields such as there shipping details, adresses, names, post codes, etc. I've searched all over the virtuemart forums but cant find anyone with this same problem so im just wondering what steps i should take to now fix this ?
