Shipping not working when weight limitations inserted

Hi

I have just migrated my site from VM1 to VM2 version 2.0.12f and am using joomla 2.5.7.

the problem i am experiencing is getting the shipping to automatically select the correct shipping cost based on weight like it did in VM1 instead of getting a list of options to choose from. I have 3 Shipping options, but when the lowest weight and highest weight values are inserted the shipping options dont display. If the weight values are removed the 3 options are displayed but not autmatically selected for the weight of the product.

Setup of shipping:

Zip Start: blank
Zipp End: blank

Lowest Weight: 0.1
Highest Weight: 1.99

Weight Unit: Kilogramme

Minimum Product: blank
Maximum Product: blank

Minimum Order Product: blank
Maximum Order Product: blank

Shipping Cost: xxx.xx

Package Fee: 0

I'm experiencing the exact same problem since upgrading from a previous version of VM, now running Joomla 2.5.8 / VM 2.0.14 and shipping options are not working correctly when weight bands are set.

e.g. product has a weight of 0.5 (kilogramme units) and the shipping option has an upper weight band of 49 kilogrammes but does not display in the shopping basket unless the band is removed.

I also found that by using an arbitrary upper weight in the shipping method of '499' with the weight unit set to kg does not work, yet if I change this to '500' it suddenly works which makes me believe that there is a bug with the weight units not being used correctly and perhaps it is fixed/stuck using grammes.

Could someone from the VM team help on this please?

In that case there should be no weight conversion
