Payfast Plugin for Virtuemart 2.0.X with a Joomla 1.5 install?

Hi all,

Hoping and praying that there is a solution out there for me on this.  I have installed the Payfast module from payfast's site manually.  I choose the Payment Method from the dropdown when creating a payment method but the configuration screen is blank.

I realize that this has not been tested for my kind of setup (Joomla 1.5/ VM 2.0.14) but wondering if anyone has run into this and if they were able to find a work around?

I really can't migrate the Joomla version since the template we are using is doing a great job it would just be too much make the migration right now. 

For the love of everything that exists, please tell me there is a solution for me here...
