Version 2.0.14: can't send email after the user registration

Help: i've downloaded and installed the very last version of VM (because of an issue of the 2.0.12f) and I found that there is an error when I register a new user from FrontEnd. I use the VM's user registration page. The error messages are the following:
JUser: :_load: Unable to load user with ID: 42
You must provide at least one recipient email address.

Take into considerazion that there is not any user in the db with ID = 42 (maybe one time, now there's not anyone).
What can I do to sort this issue out?

Sorry. I have to add that the record, in the user table, has been registered, but no email has been sent.

Looks like your joomla email setup is not correct. Userid42 was in earlier times the id of the user who installed joomla.
