Hello all - any help or quick thoughts from the wiser is much appreciated!

I am using sh404SEF, but I set the component specific settings to use Joomla routers (and not use sh404SEF with VM), which is fine for my needs..

The VM URLs looks fine off the menu links, but when clicked through via VM component links I am getting an added " -2 " in the URL, so I will get /LED-2/ instead of just /LED/

For example:
http://www.candleray.com/led/led-standard-screw-base-bulbs
Vs.
http://www.candleray.com/led-2/led-standard-screw-base-bulbs

This also happens on the product flypages.  Any thoughts on where this "-2" is coming from and how to remove it?  Thank you!

sh404SEF Version: 3.6.4.1481

It appears you resolved the issue. What was the solution if you don't mind me asking

Sorry for delay - just saw your reply:

I am not sure of the solution EXACTLY; however, I got sh404sef working well with VM 2 with all SEF friendly URLs enabled (and the above URL issue resolved) by setting the sh404 configuration --> by component setting to "use joomla router" and "do not translate" and "use joomla router.php" for the VM specific component settings

This basically turns off sef404 with VM use, as far as I can tell

Eventually realized I only wanted to use "custom URLs" for sh404 anyway, and repeated this method for all components, allowing use of custom URLs only and no auto-generated URL, basically

If you are on the same path and have any trouble let me know and I can give you exact settings that worked on my end

But now also having trouble with entire cart vanishing when registered user is logged in (but this doesnt seem to be a sh4040 or URL issue that I can see):

Cheers and good luck

Also I believe I had to "enable remote configuration" and enable "with .htaccess" on sh4040 setting to get this going
