Setting paypal payment

Hi guys,

How do i set a payment using paypal whereby if the customers total cost if above $300, he only need to pay a 50% deposit first.
After he got the products, he will need to pay the remaining price.

This is a unique request, specific to your site, so you will need to write your own plugin or modify an existing one.

May be easier initially to use a purchase order/invoice system, where baskets over the threshold of $300 send a purchase order to admin who then issues a PayPal invoice for 50% of the vaue. Again you will probably need to write your own plugin.
