How to get products to appear

I am setting up new VM 2f on Joomla 2.5

After adding two products, how do I get them to appear in front end?  In the prior versions all I had to do was enter all the product information and image and publish and it was available.

I have done all that but no products appear on the front end.

What am I missing?
