Saving configuration after update removes categories from frontpage

Hello all,

I updated to 2.0.12( this also happens for 2.0.12e)

After the update I wanted to remove some price fields and saved the configuration.
Then the frontpage was not showing the categories. I couldn't at first connect this directly to
my configuration modification ( as I thought it was a basic thing )
I have now spent hours on fixing this, revering finally to a backup of the old database which fixed it.
Then I found out that there is an option  Show Categories    in the configuration tab. Which for some reason is
not checked in my 2.0.12. By checking that option everything was fixed.

Just thought I'd leave this here for others if someone has the same problem.
