VAT field missing

In VM 2.0, costumers does not have the VAT field.

In Portugal, it is mandatory by law, including the number of taxpayers in the invoices (VAT number).
To do so, the costumer has to have this possibility on register; indicate this number.
The problem is, on VM 2.0x that field doesn`t exist.

VAT Regulations are harmonized in all EU countries. The customer's VAT number on the invoice is only required if you sell cross country from your VAT registered business to a VAT registered business in another EU country with VAT deducted on your invoice.

That plugin doesn`t work for me.
1.º - I don`t sell out of Portugal.
2.º -  In Portugal, we can`t make any Invoice out of Tax Certified programs.
3.º - I need that number to add to my Tax Certified program to make the invoice, but the VM doesn't  have that field.
It has at list two phone numbers, fax, etc, but no VAT number field...

Go to your Virtuemart Configuration - Shopper Fields and create the field you want by clicking on "New".
