Tax not being sent to Klarna (payment plugin)?

I have a pretty big problem with the Klarna plugin. According to Swedish law the tax must be at 25% for each product and this must be visible when payment is being made. The tax is visible in the shop but not sent to Klarna when completing the checkout. I have been in contact with Klarna but they say they cant see why the tax isn't being included to them within the payment information, therefor I ask you guys if you can help.

In the VM configuration I have checked that Tax is visible. In Tax & Calculation rules (dont know if thats the correct name in english, my store is in swedish) I have created a tax that adds (+) 25% for all categories and customer groups. The tax is published and visible for customers. In each product I have chosen this Tax rule manually. And it shows up in the store. In the checkout view I can see the tax and it works. But after that, when chosing Klarna as payment and clicking "Confirm Order" the tax dont get included to Klarnas system.

Someone who knows what could be wrong?

Joomla 2.5.6
Virtuemart 2.0.12b
Klarna plugin 2.0.8a

Dear alexzien,

We are sorry that you are experiencing this issue and that we could not assist you over the phone.

Looking at the information you posted on the forum, we believe this problem is due to the mismatch between your VirtueMart core, 2.0.12b and the VirtueMart AIO (all in one package, which comes with your VM download) which is 2.0.8a.

Could you please update your AIO and test this again?

To update the AIO, login to your Joomla admin, click on 'components' and then click on 'virtuemart-aio'.

Let us know if this solved your problem.

Thank you for your reply. I had already before tried to update aio to latest version but that didnt change the version on Klarna plugin. I also tried now to update it manually with the files from the zip with latest aio version, but without any change. It states version 2.0.12b of AIO but Klarna plugin still say 2.0.8b. Is there even a 2.0.12b version of Klarna?

alexzien

Would much like to have an answer to if Klarna 2.0.8a is the latest version? If not, how do I update only Klarna?

Hello

The latest version is the 2.0.12f.
You can update via the button underneath the left menu : UPDATE FOUND! CLICK TO UPDATE.

Hi, I have done this, but that didn't change the Klarna version, only Virtuemarts.

alatak

Hello,

Yes you must aslo update the AIO component.
Click on the link Component > virtuemart-aio.
and then on the button "Update to the latest version"

Have tried that too, but it didnt update Klarnas version. It still says 2.0.8a.

I tried to install a fresh installation of Joomla and Virtuemart in a different folder and then the Klarna version say 2.0.12e. So, why don't it work to update an already installed version?

alexzien

I tried to update cache for Klarna and now the version is 2.0.12f! I will try to buy with the payment module now and I get back to you with the result.

alexzien

It seems to work now. Thank you for your help.

Hi, got the exact same problem as the authour. VM 2.0.12f  and aio same.. perfectly good looking VM invoce Templates with tax showing but not in the Klarna backend. There the product is displayed incuding tax on both posts.

Tried now and updated both VM and AIO to 2.0.14 stable version. I used joomla component install help as the auto update do not work for me. No prob with update both versions now says 2.0.14. But still same problem.

Where did you see what Klarna version u had? Cant seem to find that info anywere.. and how did u cache the Klarna plugin?

Have talked with Klarna and they did not know what the prob was..

The klarna version is the one from you AIO component.

The problem is that the invoice created in the Klarna backoffice ( not VM) do not show the product price without tax and dont specify how much tax the product consists of.

Hello, this issue was solved by the help of one on this board but i was forced to do a re installment and also updated to the newest release 2.0.18. also AIO.

What solved it in the past was "changed the tax order for the moms 25% to 1 and then changed the tax rule for articles) to 'default tax rule'.

But now this has no effect what so ever. I was in contact with klarna i sweden and they dont get the tax sent to em. You can see in the attached image what is seen on the invoice in Klarna backoffice. The price without tax is the same as the price including tax. i have tried all diffrent kinds of options with the same result.

So i am lost once again :/

Edit: I have now changed the rule to "vat tax per product" from "tax per product"!  seemed to have solved it! crossing fingers. These two lines had the exact same translation in swedish so when i changed to english in the backend and looked it was two different lines. Not so easy to find.
