Can't Install AIO package

I am unable to install the latest or previous AIO package for VirtueMart. I tried the ZIp and the gzip files, and even tried unpacking and re-zipping both to see if that was the issue. I have tried installing into a FRESH Joomla 2.5 install using MAMP PRO, as well as two flawless Joomla installations currently running in HostGator hosting environments. I have also confirmed permissions locally and on the server.

The regular package of VM installs fine, but the AIO does not. Here is the errors I am getting:

Warning: require(/PATH/administrator/components/com_virtuemart/helpers/config.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /PATH/tmp/install_507eeaf5ed218/script.vmallinone.php on line 319

Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required '/Applications/MAMP/htdocs/ecommerce-setup/administrator/components/com_virtuemart/helpers/config.php' (include_path='.:/PATH/bin/php/php5.4.4/lib/php') in /PATH/tmp/install_507eeaf5ed218/script.vmallinone.php on line 319

Any ideas? Why can't we download and install the modules/plugins separately?

Really? I can't be the only person having this issue!

You need to ensure you have sufficient PHP resource settings, especially for localhost - eg see http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=108813.0

I have never had an issue with VM installation - the server settings I use are in http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=102045.msg339125#msg339125  - but for localhost I would increse timeout considerably.

If you are really stuck with resources try unpacking the component, ftp it into a suitable directory in Joomla and then use "Install from Directory" in Joomla's extansion manager.
