Custom field dropbox with stock control

Hello everyone,

I am a begginer, I use VM2.0.12 and I want to use a dropbox to select sizes for shoes, but with a stock control.
e.g.
size 35 out of stock
size 36 (1 item left)
size 37 (2 item left)
size 38 out of stock

And the out of stock size must not be able to choose.
I'm sure that this has been discussed before, but I can not find it.
Can someone please help me? I'm trying several days know.

I have read the solution about creating one PARENT PRODUCT and several CHILDREN PRODUCTS.
It has got to be more easier.
I mean if I have for each shoe type, 6 shoe sizes, then I will have to create 1 PARENT and 6 CHILDREN PRODUCTS.
Suppose I have 500 PARENT Products (500 shoe types), then according to my calculation I will have to create 500 PARENTS and 3000 CHILDRENS?
Total  3500 PRODUCTS? JUST TO USE STOCK CONTROL?

That is RIDICULOUS. It has got to be an easier way in VM2.
