Product Stock Bug

I have a bug in VM 2.0.10 with Stock Control.
I have set the shop to "Do not Display Product" when a Product is Out of Stock.
All products have a stock of 1.
If a user orders a product and either pays for it or doesn't pay for it, Virtuemart removes the product from the shop front end as required.
However, the product in the Virtuemart admin area still shows as 1 in stock.
The bug is this...to get the product to show in the front end again you have to set the in stock value to 2.
This is a problem because if we get a bogus order or someone doesn't pay then we have to change the stock amount to 2 to show the product again.
Please advise.
