notyfy.php for PayPal

Hello,

I know it's been posted for many times here, and read many posts about this, but still couldn't find good explanation and solution for my problem.
I'm new to using paypal payment system.

I'm using VM 1.1.6 stable.

I've set-up Paypal payment method, seemed to be very simple.

I'm trying to sell downloadable products, so I need a payment confirmation.

I discovered that I should use notify.php for this purpose.

I wrote that url into my paypal account, that will be seller at the store.

When I made the payment, I expected that I would receive email from the website with download code.

But thing happened.

Can you help me detect reason, why my VM didn't get response, or why I'm not receiving email from my VM.
