it would be great, I so this wishes many times on forums
VM may assigns auto SKU when you create a new products with possibility of changing. Cause it take time when you fantasying new SKU ))

It would be great if we have this feature as plugin or as build-in feature of some next version of VM2

This is will be great, I am looking for plugin to auto generate the SKU for any new products but I cannot find for VM nice plugin available for Magento check out the features http://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/catalog/product/view/id/15887/
