Want more powerful options than VM2 Custom Fields? Integrate a Breezing Form!

VirtueMart 2 offers some great Custom Field functionality. But let's be honest - it can be a challenge to learn, and there are some things that simply can't be done yet.

For example, you can't make one custom field's choices dependent on the values chosen in another custom field, unless you're doing Parent/child products or something along those lines.  And there are a lot of other advanced custom field capabilities you might want to include, but you can't do them with the suite of standard Custom Fields, or the plugins currently available.

Does Breezing Forms have the ability to make a drop down box mandatory? this is one of my requirements and VMCustomDropBox does not offer this unfortunately

Yes, you can do all kinds of form building in Breezing Forms, including making fields mandatory, making fields conditional upon other fields, allowing users to upload very large files to Dropbox, integrating and displaying data from external databases or other tables in your Joomla database, etc.

A few exciting updates:

First, we have released the new Breezing Forms Plugin PRO for VM2 for sale, and our previous Breezing Forms plugins are now free!  You can see them here: https://polishedgeek.com/free-extensions/virtuemart-breezing-forms-plugin/overview-a-features.html  . The BF Plugin PRO allows you to trigger a custom Breezing Form as part of the checkout process for certain products.  It does not include the ability to adjust product prices.

Second, we are developing an even more advanced Breezing Forms Custom Fields extension. This one will give you endless possibilities, because you will be able to create a custom Breezing Form and embed it directly into the VM2 product details pages - and you can adjust the product price with the responses in the form!
