Hi,

Is it no longer possible to have the thumbnail of the product a different file to the main image of the product?  I have only recently upgraded to VM2 and I have been battling to see where I would change these AND have it display correctly on the FE.

Please could someone help me?

Thanks

John2400

Actually you can have lots of little images under the main image- open a product and upload two or three related to the same product. they will sit underneath the larger one.  You can click and swap them around in the back end and then click them on the front end - see here.

I'm sure someone will answer with a rollover option :
Had this sent to me to try - might be of interest too- http://www.no-margin-for-errors.com/projects/prettyphoto-jquery-lightbox-clone/

Hi John2400

Yeah, thats all awesome and that zoom plugin could be a bonus, but I am wanting is the following, when people click on the product category they see 1 image as the thumbnail, which i originally made thumbx.jpg and then clicking on that will bring another image up in the description.

is this no longer possible?

mmm,

have not tried this but since the thumbnail and the larger are in two separate folders and already linked - then just replace the large image with the same file name - , different image.

actually this is a zoom imager free : try this - I can see some issues with it :
