New install of VM 2.0.8e into Joomla 1.5.26

Have tried all the suggestions in other posts but cannot set currency.  Have spend two hours searching posts and forums with no solution that works.

I have filled in all fields in shop configuration in Vender, Additional Information and Shipping Information. I have selected the currency in the configuration. ( Costa Rica )  I have added a payment method and shipping method.  Nothing seems to work.

It was indicated that this bug was fixed in an earlier release so why is it appearing in the new version I downloaded just today?

Yes I see that?   Per the post that does not do anything to solve the problem.

John2400

really this might be your issue - joomla version 1.5 .

You can reinstall VM over the top of your current site it will do little except turn on some modules you might have turned off. Try that then set the store currency again and see if that works.

www.vn-boom.com,

Hi can you confirm that you went into your currency settings and set up how the currency should be - then set the currency in configuration as shown below?

Hi ,

I can get the comma in the currency if you put a decimal point in as shown.

But I do not know if you are allowed to do this in your currency?

Info: COM_VIRTUEMART_MISSING_VALUE_FOR_FIELD

Info: COM_VIRTUEMART_CHECKOUT_PLEASE_ENTER_ADDRESS

vmError: Was not able to save the VirtueMart user data
JUser: :_load: Unable to load user with ID: 42, as you can see in the image attached.

Please, could you give me instructions to fix this issue?

Hello

Go in the tab Additional information, and enter the vendor address.
If this is not the reason, check in the list of user if you have a user with the ID 42

Hi, I registered just I could answer this. I had the same issue briefly. (it does not appear to be a VirtueMart issue at all)

If you install a Joomla/Virtuemart QuickStart, there can be a small problem in the database in regards to how VM attempts to load the original user when accessing vendor information. (It tries loading a user that does not exist).

See this article for help http://www.gavick.com/forums/general-discussion/error-juser-load-unable-to-load-user-with-id-42-17408.html

There's two small edits you will need to make to your database. That's it!
