Product with different prices according to length

Hi all... it might have been already answered though I cannot find it even if I tried and read a lot of threads...
I have products that I gave custom fields to have different prices depending on length... with that option though on the drop down product size selection menu the add up price is shown...
e.g. the default price is 1€ and the price for the 10X10cm length is +1€ and it is shown...

so my question is... how can I make it not to be displayed to the drop down list or

is there another way to add products with different prices according to length other than custom fields--> Custom field type: Cart variant, published: yes, title, cart attribute:yes ?

I hope I wrote what i need quite clear.. thank u in advance

I'm having a little trouble understanding your question but I think you want to adjust pricing based on dimensions (in your case area - length x width).  This little product may help you:

I haven't used it but it sounds like what you're asking for.
