new products module frontpage with direct "add to cart" / custom fields ignore

hi there

i am a module "latest products" on the front page. You can push the "+" icon, and the article is in your cart. However, i put some custom fields as Size and Color to it, which are now being completely ignored by the proces !!!

what to do now?
