Upgrading on Virtuemart 2.0.4 > 2.0.6 on Joomla 2.5.4 problem

After following upgrade VM has disappeared from components menu. Files look like they are still there and tables are still in the DB but 'Manage' option still showing the VM Component as at 2.04, but I cant get to it.

BTW- AIO appears to have upgraded correctly to 2.06 and is still in Components Menu

I have  tried changing RAR to ZIP method plus uploading pre-unzipped files and trying to install from /tmp but it still wont work.

Anybody else managed to recover from this position ?
