Add to cart is not working

Hi,

After uploading my shop to liver server Add to cart button is not working no popup message for continue shopping or show cart, although it is working fine at local server on my local computer. I have done the following steps already

Disable the external VM Jquery library.
I have checked with the SC JQuery.

But still no luck.
I am using joomla 1.5.26 | VM 2.0.4

Just wonder why not update to 2.0.6 first ? maybe solve through software update first - then tweaking.

When asked for update then following error through:


Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 10 seconds exceeded in /home/cranberr/public_html/demo/ESFnew/libraries/joomla/filesystem/archive/tar.php on line 154

Should i do all that updates manually like they have mentioned in their update description.

wow , 10 seconds wow. That is the shortest I have seem.

First try these posts-

Or ask your provider for a longer extension time on the server and email them the message - they will get the idea.

latest version of vm and vm AIO has updated successfully but no luck, please advise. i have done it by ftp.
