Notify Me not working in V2.0.7b

I thought I'd start a new topic as my last one wasn't answered because maybe it was under a different topic.  This relates to test version 2.0.7b.

The 'Notify Me' function does not work at all now.  When you click on the 'Notify Me' button, nothing happens again apart from a re-directed page and you can't see any notifications in the new notify layout.  V2.0.6 worked to an extent when I amended some code.  I amended the code again in this version and still nothing happens.  Any help would be appreciated.  I have also commented on other bugs in this version, but yet to hear from anyone.  Remember we are here to help get this software in tip top condition.

Hello antonitus. It may happen that people do not answer, main reason is that they just dont know what to say to it.

Atm I have RSI (wrote too much) and become father 3 days ago, so my time is quite limited.

But what I wanted to say is that the waiting list feature is started in the BE and is just not finished yet. But it will have more possibilities then just a waiting list.

Hi Milbo,

Congratulations on your new baby.  You must be so excited and happy.  Sorry to bother you with this, I'm sure you got a lot on your plate right now.

My client's shop is nearly about to go live, except I have a few issues, one being the waiting list as some of his products are not yet available and he wants them to be shown as out of stock, so the notify me option is the way to go without un-publishing product.  Someone wrote a mod to allow the notification to be sent to the user's email address when logged in and not getting the 500 error. The next issue is user self activation (i.e. registration) which doesn't work properly.  I think I found the reason why it doesn't work in this thread: http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=98835.0 (see my post at bottom of page).   Thought I'd let you know if this makes sense.
