MIGRATING from 1.5-VM1.9 to J2.5-vm2 CAUSES IMAGES REWRITE from .JPG to .jpg

Hi, after migration some trouble with images appears, see image.
In the red warning bar on top image name is not found because VM looks for .jpg, while image exists and show when clicked with img ending JPG, capital letters.

Is this a bug or do anyone know how to make vm NOT rewrite image name?
In vm2 tables there's no rewrite, so there must be some code doing it.
