Is there no extension for Paypal Pro and VirtueMart?

I have been looking since February for an extension for Paypal Pro. There has only been one extension which has now been removed and is under investigation.

Does anyone have an alternative solution?

This is something I need to know as well. I have a client that is basically requiring that his payment system use Paypal Pro so users don't have to be redirected away from the website to pay, but it doesn't seem there's a working plugin available for VM2. This is incredibly frustrating - I'm just hoping someone the owner at BigFoot fixes his issues with the download codes, I've sent him a few emails already.

When you go to their website, you see this message at the top of the products page:

Please note, currently our Virtuemart payment gateways are for Virtuemart 1.x only. They are not compatible with 2.0

It is in our plan to do it also...if nobody does it.. but i don't know when it will be available.

I love this plugin. It works exactly how it is supposed it. It was super easy to use and you configure it very similar to the standard paypal that comes with VM2
