Missing filetype_jpg.png and broken style

Hello

I recently installed VirtueMart to my Joomla 2.5. They are both fresh installs, but after installing, a problem occured. The file filetype_jpg.png does not exist where it should be e.g /joomla/components/com_virtuemart/assets/images/vmgeneral/filetype_jpg.png. I thought that maybe it was faulty install so I checked installer pack for that missing file but it does not exist there either. Okay, so to check if thats what is causing my layout to break I temporarily reneamed filetype_pdf.png to filetype_jpg.png to see if this fixes the problem - it didn't. I have very broken style, everything is on wrong place. What is the problem with it and how can I solve it ? I have included images in attachments.

There is just not enough space left in the installer. You just need to upload a file to show the xtension.

Will it solve the the broken style ?

Did you find the solution to this problem, i am facing the same problem.
Also the front page is not showing images.

After enabling Dynamic Thumbnail Resizing the problem got solved.

It was already on by default. I have files missing, could someone please be so kind and upload filetype_jpg.png here. I hope adding this will fix the problem.

Basically the sample shop data has almost no media files with it. Where can I get those files ?

The same problem happens to me.
After a  fresh install with joomla 2.0.4 and virtuemart 2.0.6 I got broken images insample data.
It seams that sample images are loaded in images/stories/virtuemart WITHOUT any extension (ie. missing ".jpg") and with wrong name (i.e. different from the ones defined in virtuemart_medias table).
Can't find images/vmgeneral/filetype_jpg.png file anyhere (also in install distribution).

I think that sdample data installation in 2.0.6 is buggy.
