Custom Fields in Frontend

I have created this custom field attached.

how do i now get this to appear in my product details page?

The thing is that the documentation is not working. In VirtueMart 2.0.2 it was working properly. But now in VM 2.0.4 a lot of things are not working anymore.

When I create a no cart custom field, it is not shown on the frontend. Do I have to fill something in in the "layout position" field?

Same issue here, got some fields but they don't show up anywhere on the front end. The <div> that contains the data is empty.

Hi , Guys

i saw this yesterday in a post someone else sent me - the problem there was that the product was a child product and the override would not take.

* Could you just check and see if the product you are trying to add an attribute to is a parent or a child.
I can't say this will work for you but it did for others.

Nope, not a child or parent. I'll have a look at the queries and try to figure it out. Quite annoying though.
