I get a blank page when I test my site ordering setup.

What I have....
Joomla site 2.5.2 with Virtuemart 2.2 (all up to date as of 2/Apr/2012)
Its a new 'clean' site setup without upgrading from old versions.

I initially had problems with shipping module & payment module didn't work, however, that was because I forgot to install the AIO module of Virtuemart.
Thats now all installed and it looks almost OK... just when I click 'confirm order', I now get a blank screen (all white).

I looked through the forum and Kelvyn suggests to look here: http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=62675.0
However, that doesn't make much sense to me so..

I was going to post the question to my provider (HeartInternet) to ask about php logs, but before I posted the question, it came back with the following:

personal2.png is there (without the underscore at the front)

Does that mean anything to anyone here please?
I obviously changed the I/P addresses and site name.
Many thanks in advance..

There is a similar thread to this issue here:

However, within the answers, the poster (of some of the answers), seems to assume that us newbies can follow their answers, but there are too many assumptions...
If you do give an answer, try to give a 'complete' answer (maybe it will need to be step-by-step)

The error you are showing is related to your Beez_20 template not to VirtueMart.

There are some issues related to the use of the Beez template reported by others, for example some things will not display, such as the product review star images. So maybe try a different Joomla template. For example, this one is optimised for use with VirtueMart 2 - http://www.linelab.org/virtuemart-templates/index.php/virtuemart-2-example  (and the basic template is available free of charge).

Thank you for that Kelvyn, a prompt answer as usual.

I took a look at the link you posted, but I couldn't find how to download their 'free' template.
It doesn't look as though there's any way of contacting them. (Which is a good reason NOT to pay for anything from them)

I tries the other two templates in Joomla (Beez2 and Atomic) but had the same results.

I was hoping to get my site at least 'working' to show my client at 5pm this afternoon.
So, I'll just trawl the web this afternoon for another free Joomla template for 2.5

Thanks again for your help so far,

For info....

Free Joomla 2.5 templates from the link earlier mentioned in this thread are:

darklab
orangelab
silverlab
restaurantlab
stormlab
roundlab
carbonlabj17
greenlab17
framelab
shoplab
colorshop_lite
skylab_free

.....At least, these were the ones I was able to download.
I'm now going to check them out and see if they sort my problem.

I've now tried a few of them and apart from some configuration etc I've got to do, they look OK.

Now changing this to solved.

Thanks again Kelvyn       8)

This is where the correct answer is.
It was the wrong php version!
