Products only show after copying

Hello,
I'm new to Virtuemart but I'm already working with Joomla for a couple of years now.
I've an installation with Joomla 2.5.3 and VM 2.0.2
When I add a product through VM it's not visible in the frontend.
Only after copying the product in the backend it gets visible in the frontend.
After that I can remove the 'original' product I put in and the copy stays active.
How can this be?

Hi guys your problem is in the product.

Go in to your products in the back-end and then in the product,then go to shopper groups and add anonymous and default.

anonymous is for all unregistered shoppers(for all shoppers)
default is for registered shoppers
