Multilingual custom field issues

At the moment  have two languages Eng and DE (two more to follow).

Almost everything is working fine. My default currency is CHF (Swiss Franc) and no other languages accepted in both languages.
I have some products with different sizes and colors.

Now in Eng the custom fields show correctly, but in DE it shows the Euro sign.

How do I tweak that?
