Some Troubles with Virtuemart

Hail anyone, I'm beginner in this forum as in the app too, Firstly I want to gratz you guys cause even though I don't know how to use it At ALL, I can see It's a awesome one. but ok, It's time to show you the troubles than I got.. In first time, I download the es_es_virtuemart_lang.zip from the link fuoun here in the forums. but when I try to install it I got a error.. and It is the following:

In the red lyrics say: ¡ERROR! It haven't possible found a XML joomla confuguration in the Upload pack

so please help me to Fix it, In this step of "know" the app, I need it on my main lenguaje for a best learning

The 2 error is the next:

As you say, I'm trying to create a new Shiping method and Payment Method but I found that error, and I don't know what It want to means... (Not sure)

Any reason why you are using a very old Joomla version instead of the latest stable verison?

Thanks so much for that link Jjk, I'm using Joomla 1.5 in a freehost on internet, cause I tryed to Install joomla 2.5 in my computer but when I install virtuemart on it, I got alot of Errors on the Virtuemart control panel, They refer to a kind of trouble in the tables, anyways I'll install it again, and show you what I'm talking about.

Last version of the Joomla 1.5 series is 1.5.25. Note that official support for the Joomla 1.5 series ends in April.

jjk I update my joomla version to 2.5.3, see what happen when I install virtuemart on it.. There's appear alot of php errors :S





that's why I keep using 1.5 because I'm just trying to learn every fuction of this awesome application, when I learn how to use it at all, I'll want to use a lasted Joomla version
