Moduls / Demo Files?

Hello,

i just installed VM2 by now. In Version 1 there was a complete Version with joomla + vm1 + demofiles. Is it for VM2 also avalible?

I wanted to install some modules like in the demo.virtuemart.net (for example latest products / new products) to get the products on the main page. but i did not find anything in the extensions.

They are there -

remember to upload both files -

then make VM the home page - for a test - and they will be there

When you download VM,

it will come as a compressed file - there are two parts to it -

winzip and expand that file on your home drove. Now in joomla extensions - click upload and go into the VM 2 folder that you just winzipped open.

In there are two files - you do one at a time - every time there is a new VM update.

Yes they are also compressed files too -- so it is one file has two compressed files in it (both) the second will have the test files you are looking for.

when i download the latest version 2.0.6 there are no files included. its just one zip file.

The com_virtuemart.2.0.6_extract_first.zip package contains two components for installation:
com_virtuemart.2.0.6.tar.gz  and  com_virtuemart.2.0.6_ext_aio.tar.gz
