VM2+Joomla 2.5 greybox don't opens on product add

I have a trouble with an VM2+Joomla 2.5 installation.

I was buying a template at http://www.virtuemarttemplates.net/
That one:
http://demo.virtuemarttemplates.net/vmbrightvm2/

Like you can see in the demo the greyboxes are working fine by adding a product to cart. I was installing the kickstart package included. Means i have a 1 to 1 copy running of the demo. I was following any step up the installationguide:

But the greyboxes are not opening on hitting the add to cart button.

I was trying to workaround by deavtivating the "Costum User Script Box". But by deactivating this i jump by adding to cart directly to the shopping cart on mainpage without having a product added.

This installation isnt running on the maindirectory of my host. Can it be upon this? Or has anyone a workaround?

The displayed page codes look the same, so it has to be server differences I guess. Maybe PHP versions (you should be using PHP5.3.x), but to me it looks like VM2.0 rather than the updated VM2.0.2, but I don't know what script changes, if any, the template developers made.

I'd try the later VM version. This will change the product layout isf the template is not properly set to use overrides.

I have solved the issue. It looks like it was an rewrite or redirection problem. Since i have setted my http domain on redirection to the www. and insert the regular htaccess of the joomla package it runs well! But thanks for your help!
