Add to Cart function inactive in Joomla 1.7.3 and Virtuemart 2.0.0-RC-2M for JA TelineIV template?

brandywine

I've noticed that with some of the JA templates, you must change "Optimize JS" in the Template Manager from "join & minify" to "no."  Keeping this selected to "join & minify" seems to be creating a JSquery conflict.  You might give that a try.

Thank you very much, but ineffective.

how about disabling virtuemart jquery?

haonampro

Thanks, I disabled virtuemart jquery, certainly.

I'm also having trouble since updating.  I've disabled the jQuery on the shop tab of the configuration (is there another place to try?) and tried other templates. The button shows, but nothing happens when it is clicked in all cases.

Please install firebug or use chrome. Then you can see if you have a jquery conflict. Afaik it is always a jquery conflict, when the button is shown, but not working

Found it!  Easy fix if you have access to your .htaccess/htaccess.txt file.

Details here: http://blog.gbinghan.com/2011/07/virtuemart-refused-to-set-unsafe-header.html

It solved my issue.  I'll let the OP try post it as solved if it fixes their issue.
