Multiple Payment Options ??? Split ammounts based on %'s

Hello everyone...

I have a unique and interesting request, I am not sure if this is a feature already but I wanted to begin researching.

Here is the scenerio, I have a charity type situation where we have multiple manufacturers that have decided to contribute a part of each sale to charity. What I would like to try to accomplish is when a product is purchased a portion of the sale amount is given to the charity automatically, while another portion of the sale is then given to the manufacturer.

Is it possible to have a specified amount of the purchase price processed and deposited automatically to the charity? Is it also possible to, depending on the product, have a processor directly deposit the manufacturers amount to different specified manufacturers accounts?

any thoughts or ideas on how I could actually accomplish this would be very appreciated
