My observation:

Using J1.7.1 and VM 2.0.0-RC-2i

A fresh install on J1.7.1 with sample data.
A fresh install of VM with sample data.

Click on SHOP - Shop, you'll see tabs for Vendor, Additional Information and General User Information.
Click on Save & Close.
Click on anything else.  I clicked on Products and saw the list of products.

Now, back to SHOP - Shop.  Now all you'll see is Additional Information and General User Information.  Vendor info is missing.

 :)

If it's of any value, I can give you access to the DEV site, but I suspect given this was a FRESH install for J1.7.1 and VM that it should be repeatable.

Same here.  Venor information disappeared after setting store owner id with migration tool.

Working with a fresh install of Joomla 1.7 and VM2 RC2i.

Cheers,
Cha

The fix is in svn. I think, we must release today a fix for this.

Milbo,  Can we get a status on this fix?

Thanks,

Milbo

try the new version. you should be able to repair your old installation, using the tool "Set store owner" in the migration panel

Thank You.  All appears to be working again.

I will note however, that I was not able to use the tool or migration tool to make this update.  The Vendor tab under SHOP was still unavailable.  Doing a fresh install of the latest version however fixed the problem.

No, it was meant that you do the update and then with the new files. other method is to enable multivendor temporarly and make the admin vendor again.
