VM TEST mode works, getting error 206 (declined) when live !

Hello,
We're running J1.5.10 and VM 1.1.3 with Authorize.net payment module. All API Key info, etc has been entered correctly. When testing the site, using TEST cards and Authorize.net Admin set to TEST, everything is fine.. when using REAL cards and Authorize.net admin is set to live and VM is in TEST mode everything is fine.. but when we turn off test mode, and use a real credit card, we are getting this error in VM:

Error: 2-2-206-P---This transaction has been declined.
Error: Failure in Processing the Payment (ps_authorize)


I have searched VM forums and Auth.net help sections, etc.. and there is nothing I can find to resolve this..

Any help is greatly appreciated as the store is live, customers can shop but not complete orders !

How was this resolved and how is the VM/Authorize.net combination working for you now?

You said that at one point you have Authorize.net set to LIVE and VM in TEST MODE.

How did you do this? I can't find a setting to put TEST MODE ON or OFF in VM.

How did you get this to work? I am getting the same issue pretty much... except mine is 205 instead of 206.

Error: 2-2-205-P---This transaction has been declined
Error: Failure in Processing the Payment (ps_authorize)

That's what mine looks like. Help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!
