In my opinion VirtueMart 1.1 and Joomla 1.5 are not ready for production sites, changes are being made daily.

I can not check the error you are getting as I can not install VM 1.1 due to changes to legacy plugin, once installation problem is fixed I'll check the error.

Can not replicate using Joomla 1.5 r9208 and VM 1.1 r985.

What is your Joomla 1.5 and VM 1.1 revision?

Again the revision (SVN) number please, I don't have this problem.
